The project starts from the need of Politecnico of Milan to create new rooms and public spaces for its architecture students. A bright plaza - enclosed by a light glass facade - faces the main street; while independent wooden rooms face the existing garden. The structure of the whole building is exposed to the eye: the one in steel is cold, and the one in wood remains hot. Great attention has been given to the expression and the functionality of their “meeting”.
